Jessye’s newest album Glitter Up the Dark, produced by Aaron Lee Tasjan, is getting rave reviews. She writes about the album “Aaron and I came up with the idea to write an album that would center the idea of joy, in a broad sense…specifically, the joy of marginalized communities…joy is something you have to fight and work for.
