Event details →The GMF Annual Fund is dedicated to raising the resources that are necessary to run the organization. In 2026 the Meetinghouse will reach 220 years in service to Cape Ann, a miraculous survivor and centerpiece of the Historic District. Our successful and ongoing mission is to preserve it as a cultural venue, civic hub and community gathering center.
We are mostly volunteers but our paid executive assistant, Ashley Shedd, provides invaluable and efficient office support. We also incur significant costs for building use, graphics, web hosting, marketing, advertising and other essential services. This year we will be hiring additional professional staff for enhanced program growth, grant-writing, development, and planning for the upcoming Capital Campaign.
Your generous contributions to the Annual Fund are central to facilitating our vision for a completely renovated and updated Meetinghouse, complementary to the new Sawyer Free Library and expanded Cape Ann Museum – an incomparable resource capable of hosting as many as 500 participants for community-focused forums, events and performances.
Delivering on our great aspirations depends upon you.
