The Meetinghouse: a centerpiece of the Cape Ann community since 1806.

Two hundred and twenty years in, and the story continues. Help us write it — and keep the Meetinghouse as an important cultural hub for Cape Ann.

So much accomplished, so much more to do.

Over the past ten years we have squeezed maximum value from around $1 million — restoring the 125′ bell tower, filling the walls with R50 insulation, re-planting the allée with Princeton Elms. In the same decade the GMF has hosted over 250 events for Cape Ann, from symposia on housing and democracy to Music on Meetinghouse Green.

Our volunteer band can no longer keep going at this pace. To stay strong, the GMF needs an energetic professional staff. The search for a skilled Operations Manager is already in-process.

We now turn to you. The information below is on ways you can contribute as a Sponsor of our 2026-27 Concert & Lecture Series and as a Donor to the Annual Fund — combined into a single ask for the first time this year.

Our Event Series Fund

Your sponsorship at any level makes our programs possible. Your gift to the 2026-27 Concert & Lecture Series lets us attract and properly compensate outstanding speakers and performers.

Annual Fund 2027

Our Annual Fund

The Annual Fund provides the resources we need to keep the GMF running and focused on its mission. This year, donations to this Fund are particularly important as we hire a team of inspired professional staff.

If you are able, we hope you will consider giving to both this year.

Your Series Sponsorship supports the season — the artists, the speakers, the music. Your Annual Fund gift supports the Foundation itself — the staff, the building, and the planning for what comes next. Each does work the other cannot.

If your circumstances allow, please consider a gift to both. If only one is possible, any gift at any level matters, and we are grateful for it.
