Thursday, June 4th, 2020, 3:00pm

Natasha Lamb, Director of Equity Research and Shareholder Engagement at Arjuna Capital, will address her work with national institution pension funds and endowments to advocate for reduction of investments in fossil fuel companies, for both ecological and rate of return reasons. Ms. Lamb’s work has been featured in the Economist, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times as well as CNN and NPR.

Harry Hinlian

The 2021 summer music series is dedicated in memory of the late Harry Hintlian, a former GMF board member, philanthropist, and avid environmentalist. Together with his wife Mary, Harry was a generous donor towards the ongoing preservation and improvement of the Meetinghouse. One of those gifts was three hectares of land, newly-planted with specialized trees in Costa Rica and managed by Reforest the Tropics. Founded by Harry Hintlian, RTT is the only United Nations sanctioned carbon sequestration project to permanently gather and sequester CO2. In addition to the Meetinghouse’s extensive insulation and energy conservation measures, this gift resulted in the historic building becoming one of the few “net zero,” or carbon neutral, examples in America.
